The saint became known after the episode in which her image was found by fishermen in 1717, on the Paraíba do Sul River, in São Paulo. Other versions say that this image found was of Nossa Senhora da Conceição, made in terracotta, 36 centimeters high and 2.5 kilos.
According to theorists, the saint would have been thrown into the water by someone who intended to get rid of the image, which was already broken.
Our reinterpretation is a modern option to decorate a devotional space with style and art.
